Two people, one product, built for Swiss gastronomy.

Gastro Bro is a small, independent product company. It's the two of us - Phil and Claudio - building the daily reporting tool we wish we'd had years ago.

How we work

Four principles we won't compromise on.

Operator-first

Built with operators, not for them.

Every feature ships after a real Swiss venue has used it on a live business day. No customer councils, no roadmap-by-survey - we work next to the people closing the till.

Swiss-built

Made in Switzerland, hosted in the EU.

CHF, de-CH and fr-CH formatting, business-date handling for late-night venues, and accountant access. Built around the way Swiss gastronomy actually works.

Manual access

Contact first. Provision second.

Public signup starts a conversation, not a payment. We provision organizations personally and invoice manually after the scope is agreed - so every workspace is set up right from the start.

Your data, yours

We don't sell or harvest data.

Your daily reports stay yours. We don't repackage operator data into market reports, sell aggregate insights, or train models on your numbers. Boring, deliberate, and the way it should be.

Founders

Half operator, half engineer.

One of us spent years running Swiss venues and feeling spreadsheets break at 4am. The other has spent a decade building software people rely on every day. Gastro Bro is what happened when those two frustrations met.

Claudio Rudin

Claudio Rudin

Co-founder

Seven plus years operating bars, restaurants, and nightclubs in Switzerland. Knows every spreadsheet that breaks on a busy weekend, every Z-report that doesn't match the bank, and every conversation with an accountant that ends in 'just send me the PDF.' Leads go-to-market and customer relationships.

Philip Reichen

Philip Reichen

Co-founder

A decade of building product, backend, and infrastructure. Owns the full technical stack at Gastro Bro - application, architecture, infra, and DevOps - alongside the operations side of running a small company. Writes most of the code, picks the boring-but-reliable tools.

Want to talk?

We're not hiring yet - but we are listening.

We're a tiny team and intend to stay one for a while. If you're a Swiss gastronomy operator with strong opinions about daily reporting, or a partner who works with operators (accountant, POS reseller, F&B consultant), we'd love to hear from you. Drop us a line at philthebrogrammer@gmail.com.
